  1. When one is about to make boxty the first thing to do is to get big potatoes and wash them thoroughly. Then you peel off the skin with a knife. Next they are grated and the boxty is put in a basin and strained. When the boxty water is let settle there is a starch got from it. The boxty, when strained is mixed with flour and salt and baked on a pan.
