  1. Many people say they have seen sheet and other things washed out at a fort which is situated in a field belonging to Mr. W. Reilly. This fort is very large with a lot of stones around it and three or four big trees growing. Very often a light is seen around it.
    In a field belonging to John J. Farrell a noise is heard like that of a mowing machine, and this has been heard by a lot of people when passing it late at night.

  2. There is a story told of a tree which was seen at Mr. Robert Geelan's. It is said that this tree was seen burning during the daytime and still it never burned out.
    A person who was much given to card-playing was coming home late one night and he had a pack of cards in his pocket. As he was coming by a fort two men came out on the road and set a table before him and asked him to
