  1. There was a family living in Killeeney called Caseys and the Bean Sidhe was said to cry after every person of that family. One evening they were all weeding in a bog near a big hole called the Poll Rua and the Bean Sidhe began to cry and walk around and around the bog and they all heard her but one of the girls and they wondered why she could not hear her. But that evening she was washing her hands at the Poll Rua when she fell in and was drowned. It is said that the person that the Bean Sidhe is crying for can never hear her.
