  1. There was an old double ditch in a field of ours and it was supposed that there was a crock of old coins which were used by the people hidden there. Many years ago this ditch was levelled down and a little child then named Patk. Gilleran found a piece of gold or bronze. He lost it again and no further attempt was made to get it. Long ago when people were laying a foundation they used to put down an old metal pot to give an echo
