In this townland there are at least five forths which are smaller than the usual size. They are placed in such a position that they can be all seen from one another, and together they all form part of a big circle. My father often told me stories of these forts, and his father told him that one various occassions he heard beautiful music and singing in the forts. No one ever attempted to cut the trees or bushes surrounding the forts, but the cattle were allowed to graze on them.
