  2. It is said that Fionn lived in Fermoyle, Lanesborough, Co. Longford, long ago. There was a great jiant living in Connaught on Slieve Bawn. Every day Fionn and the other jiant used to argue over which of them was the stronger man.
    One day while they were arguing the jiant in Connaught got very angry. He stooped in his anger and took a rock and threw it at Fionn. The rock was five or six tons in weight. While it was going it went in three parts. One of the three parts
