  1. The late Mr Mullooly, Fermoyle Lanesborough, Co. Longford was going to dig potatoes with his brother in Killashee, Co. Longford. When he was crossing a fort in Derryshawnouge, Lanesborough, Co. Longford he heard music. He turned around in the direction of Derryshawnouge bog from where the music came and saw up to two hundred men with spades on their shoulders and every one of them looking at him laughing. He tried to make a jest and for that lost his sight. He was a long time blind until he went to a priest and the priest cured him.
