The old people say if you wash your face in the dew of the grass it would protect you from getting sunburned and you would not get a cold throughout the year. The old people also say that if you borrow and lend things on May Day you would be borrowing and lending the whole year round. In olden times the people would not dream of sweeping the floor on May Day because they said they sweep away their good luck.
