    The most harmful weeds growing in our land are thistles, whins, dockens, chickenweed, scutch-grass, dandelion, and black-heads. The weeds that spread through the land and which destroy the land are foorawns, whins, and dockens. The weeds that grow in good land are thistles and scutch-grass. The weeds that grow in poor, neglected land are black-heads and chickenweed which is a very poisonous plant for young lambs. This class of land is also liable to be infested with furze, bushes and blackberry bushes.
    The weeds that are used for cures are dandelions which are used for curing stings of ettles.
