  1. Monday is an unlucky day to kill anything because if you kill anything on Monday you will be killing all week.
    Some people think holy week is a good time for sowing crops as they say they do better than anyother time.
    When a cow calves some people bring out a blessed candle and singes the cow's udder with it.
    The luckiest day to hatch a goose is the seventeenth of March or the twenty-fifth & a turkey Holy Saturday or Easter Monday. May -day is a lucky day to churn milk. People believe when they churn on May-day they never will be without milk for the rest of the year. The first Monday of the year is called hancel Monday. Some people say it is unlucky to give milk or a charity of any kind on that day. If you give things free on that day you
