There are many games both indoor and outdoor by which I amuse myself There are games which can be played by the fireside during the long nights.
One person lights a piece of stick on the fire and says to the others "Will ye buy Briney?" They ask "What can he do?" and the person says "He can reap, sow, plough, mow, and if he dies in your hand you will get tallyho."
Then that person passes it on to another and so on. Another game that is played is "Hurly Burly trump the case," the cow is in the market place, Simon Nally hunt the buck. How many horns stand up? One person gets down on his knees on the ground, while another stands behind him boxing him on the back till he guesses how many fingers he has up.
