  1. Indian natives never wore boots in former days or at present.
    Some children wear no boots in summer and we often see some children with no boots on in winter. We through out the water we wash our feet in. There is two shoemakers in our district. There is one in Edgeworthstown, and one in Legan.
    Their is no tradition in their families.
    There are clogs worn sometimes by women, and men and children.
    There was a tannery in Longford about half a century ago.
