    turn. When people put the potatoes down on the manure they cover them with clay by splitting the drill and putting half of the clay on one side and half of it on the other side, they do this with the plough or spade. When the potatoes are about two inches above the ground people mould them with a plough or spade, this means putting fresh clay up to the stalks. If a man has a lot of potatoes he mouds them with a plough. He weeds them three or four times with a scuffle. When the potatoes are fairly big people mould them again.
    In the Autumn people either dig the potatoes or plough them out. Both boys and girls pick them. They put the very small ones and the black ones in one pit and the good ones in another pit, in the garden where they grew. In the beginning of winter people
