  1. I live in the townsland of Tonagh in the parish of Tubberchain and in the barony of Kilkenny West. There are eight families in this townsland altogether. Elliott is the commonest family name. There are three families of Elliotts. There are four two-story slated houses,
    one two-story thatched
    house. and three one-storey thatched houses, Tonagh got its name from
    the fact that it was very
    low- lying land. There is only one person over seventy in the townsland
