  1. John Fox, Smith, Ballinacliffy Glasson was a very strong man about thirty years ago. He was able to lift a big horse in his arms and throw him on the ground when he was working in the forge and he was able to carry the anvil in one hand.
    This is over two cwts.
    Every one of his sons was very strong also. An uncle of Bill Fox who now lives in Ballinacliffy was very strong also. One day he was in the fair of Ballymahon
