    When the Slieve Bloom mountains are clear it's a sign of good weather When the sky is red in the direction of Dublin you may expect rain If the stars are very bright in the sky it is also a sign of rain It is said "a rainbow in the morning is the shepherd's warning. A rainbow at night is the shepherds delight" When there is a red tingle over the sky it is a sign of frost. When there is a ring around the moon you may be sure of rain. When the sun sets very red it is a sign of good weather. When there is a whistle in the wind it is also a sign of rain. When it is dark over the church of Liss we are sure to have
