- (continued from previous page)there. If you took anything out of it people say that you would be covered over with warts after a while. A snail is another cure for a wart. If you were walking out in the fields and come across a black snail and stick him on a thorn of a tree, you would be cured. Then you would have to go three times and look at the snail.
- Get nine goose berry thorns. Then get three of them and make the sign with them. When you have the sign of the cross made three times with them throw them into the fire. You have to do this for three mornings.
- There is a well in Macken near Fossagh Co. Westmeath for curing the Yellow Jaundice. The water has to be got before the sun rises. You(continues on next page)
