  1. Games that used to be played at wakes. All the people that are at the wake get one of them as a master and another gets a box or something and a lot people around them and each person gets something for his forfeit and puts it into the box and the master takes out the forfeits and makes the owner of the forfeits do something such as take off his shoes and run around the house nine times.

  2. Sacks in the “Kill”
    There was a certain question to be asked and if it could not be answered the person who failed lay on a sack, and cried “sacks in the “Kill”. Another would run in and say “Sacks in the Kill” and so on until there was a heap of lads, one on the other, and then they all could fall.

    The two index fingers were the horns a person put up their fingers saying “cows’ horns,” “goats’ horns,”” cats’ horns”
