    According to an old belief you will never have luck, if you build a house on a fairy pass.

    To ensure against this happening, you should put pegs or two row of stones, one on top of the other, around where you intend to build.
    Do this at night and if any of them are knocked you should change the site.
    There was a house in this district and the door could never be locked or glass put in the window. If they did, it would be smashed that night.
    When you hear a fairy blast you should say "God speed the travellers"
