  1. One of the most common to the school district is that the 7th son has a cure for ringworm.
    To ensure that the child (7th son) will have the "the cure", the baby infant is taken by, usually, some old woman, and into the little hand is put the make and female worm a handful furrows are placed in the child's hand. Now the hand is closed and tied with a string and put to bed. In the morning the worm's are dead and as the 7th son becomes the processor of the charm.
