    When the seventh son is born it is said that his father or mother puts a worm in his hand and if the worm dies he is supposed to have some cure.

  3. Charms

    Anybody who never seen their father has a charm to cure sore mouth.
    Thomas Fitzgerald a native of Castledaly has a charm for curing eresiplisis or lifting the palet of the mouth. Lifting the palet of the mouth, which is done by lifting a certain hair on the top of the head.
