  1. Dillons were a family that lived here long ago, and there are some of their descendants here still.
    Those people are one of the oldest families in Westmeath. They fought with the Franciscans against Cromwell. They also fought many people around the country. The peole around here say that they were the best families for fighting ever to come into the County Westmeath.
