    There is a big stone in Waterstown and it tells all about it and the year it happen in; the damage it did to the wood and all the fine timber that was lost.

    Thomas "Cos-trench" Caroline Haycot
    They represent the names of two people who lived in it, about 80 yrs ago. Built by James Mara - great-grand-father of the present occupant. Those two people above were relatives of the builder of the house and the two letters were put over the door in remembrance of them.
