  1. One night the Wards and Tuites in Dysart were out poaching on the lake. It was midnight. They saw a white thing swimming in the water and they rowed the boat as quickly as possible to the shore. When they reached it what was following them only two mermaids. They caught the boat but the men were safe. If they were in it they would have to go with the mermaids.
