  1. Holy Well
About a mile from my home there is a holy well called St Brigid's well which can cure warts.
On May day people who have warts go there. and put a pin the well and rub some of the water of the well on the wart and it then fades away.
There has to be no prayers said.
    Holy Well
There is a holy well not far from my home which is called Tobar Padraig. It has a cure for pimples. There has to be three prayers said in honour of St Patrick but I did not get the prayers as people have forgotten them.
There is a holy well not far from my home but there is no name on it. Tradition tells us that years ago when all the wells dried up it was the only place in which water could be got. There were barrels of water taken out of it every day but it never went dry
