    Mass path:-
At Conlonstown about 2 mile from Ballynacargy on the Ballymahon road there is a mass path. It is passing through part of our land and leads over to a very lonely place and into an old quarry. It is called coilear aifreann which means the mass quarry. I heard it was the place where mass used be celebrated during the the Penal times. The people used take their turns in watching for the soldiers coming to kill the priest.
