  1. I know a ditch in which there is a golden pig hidden. It is guarded by three wild cats.
    It is said that the Danes were defeated at a battle, they got three wild cats and they buried them with the golden pig. The old people say that it was prophesied that six men will dig for it, and five of them will be killed and the other will get the gold.

  2. There is a fort near Laughnavalley called lá bán.
    Long ago there used be robbers hidden in it. One day one of them was shot and he said when he was dying that there was more treasure hidden in the fort of lá bán than in all Ireland.
