    inside the cave there is a treasure hidden. I was told that the treasure consists of gold coins. No one ever dug for it because it is said that faiires guard it and evil things would happen to the person who would dig for it.

  2. I know an old house near our home in which there is gold hidden.
    When the Danes were in Ireland they were surrounded by the Irish army. They had golden crowns and other ornaments which they had taken from the monasteries.
    The Danes were defeated and they buried the golden ornaments in the old house, and it was never got. It is also said that it was guarded by fairies.
