  1. I know of a woman who lives in Leagan who can cure wildfire by putting thre burned sticks into the fire until they were blazing. Then she takes them out and makes the Sign of the Cross three times with them to the place where the wildfire is. While she is doing that she says certain prayers but no one knows what prayers she says. She can only do that on certain days on Mondays and Thursdays and Mondays three times. Her name is Mrs. Eivers
