    Potatoes are grown on our farm every year. About an acre and a half is sown under potatoes each year. We sow about the same amount each year. My father first prepares the ground. The ground is not manured in any way before it is prepared to sow the potatoes. The potatoes are sown in drills sometimes and again they are sown in ridges. To
