  1. In olden times there was no bread made like now at all.
    The people made "Oaten meal cakes, Potato cakes, and boxty bread.
    The flour that was made in olden times was made from wheat, oats, and other corn which was grown locally, and they called this flour brand one, two, and three.
    In olden times people in this district had querns of their own and they milled their own meal and they had a sieve also to sift the seeds out of
