  1. Some years ago a labouring man lived near Bunbrusna convenient to a gentleman's estate. One day his wife washed his shirt and put it out to dry. In her absence one of the gentleman's cows came along and ate the poor man's shirt. When the man heard this news he was very angry over the loss of his shirt and he made up his mind to see the gentleman about the damage the cow had done. The next morning he had an interview with the gentleman and the following are the words he used
    There's a grass-eating cow in Bunbrusna does graze,
    She ate my one shirt the lord shorten her days,
    I came to your Honour to lay down my case,
