  1. The name of the animals at home are the cows, calves, horses and pigs. When the people are calling the cows they say 'Prug'. The cow-shed is a large house with a manger at each end. There is a chain fastened to the manger and it is put around the cow's neck to tie her and sometimes a bow is used.
    Some people put a piece of palm in the cow shed to bring luck on the animals and sometimes people nail a horse-shoe on the door to protect them from disease.
    In the horse-shed there is a manger to put in hay. Sometimes the horse is tied to the manger with a head collar. In summer the men clip the horse with a horse clipper and he is shod at the forge by a blacksmith
