    would not burn. It is said that a branch was cut off, one evening and that it was attached to the tree the following morning again.
    Hand-swellings.
    Marsh Mallow was used for poulticing hard-swellings. Garlic was used for a disease in cattle.
    Warts.
    An oitment of Castor oil and bread-soda is used for curing warts. When this is put on, the warts disappear in a few days.
    Boils.
    A mixture of Carbolic soap and sugar when rubbed on boils will cure them.
