    A cure for the Whooping Cough is - Bread baked by either of a married couple who a both of the same name, or if you get a piece of red ribbon from your Godmother and tie it on your left arm, it cures it effectually.

    4. Whooping Cough cured if the godfather ties a ribbon round the child's neck.
    5. Ringworm can be cured by the 7th son of a family.
    6. Mrs Weir 86 lives Bridge St. Kilbeggan can cure sores + burns with ointment made from eldertree.
    7. Mrs Carton aged 36 cures Ringworm with a ring she has from her mother. Certain prayers are to be said for nine days
