    On the lands of Thomas Glover Clonfad there is a small ditch.

    (continued from previous page)
    After a time an old woman came in looking for help and told him to close up the sandpit and that nothing more would die.
    It is the belief of the old people in the district that a girl was buried alive under a lone bush near that spot. The mound where she is buried is there to this day.
