    Meedin Chapel is the third chapel built by the Coffeys...

    Meedin Chapel is the third chapel built by the Coffeys the other ones were mud- wall chapels. they used tp thrash oats in these old chapels during the week and prepare it afterwards for mass on Sunday. A man named Christy Connor lived near the old chapel and Mr. Coffey bought the land & house from Connor. He made the present
