  1. The most harmful weeds grown locally are Scutch Grass, Prasha Buide, or wild mustard, Dock leaf thistle, Nettles, Black-heads, Chicken-weed (in tillage) and Gloran, and
    Thistles are harmful because they spread very rapidly. The tall species of thistle grows on good soil. Scutch grass impoverishes the soil and daisies grow on bad land.
    Bracken is a bad weed as it spreads rapidly and impverishes the soil.
