  1. Whooping Cough
    When two persons of the same name get married they are said to have a cure for Whooping Cough.
    A cure for Whooping Cough is often affected in this way - The child having Whooping Cough is made to pass out between the legs of a donkey. A piece of bread is given to the donkey an dthe child has then to eat the crumbs which are left. IN this way the child is cured.
    Sponsors are often got to knot a piece of red tape round the neck of the child having Whooping Cough and in this way she or he is cured.
