  1. Deire Fluic is the name of a small field in the bog of Ballinahee. Long ago a robber used to plunder and rob rich men and hide in Deire Fluich. After a long time the robber was found. He had all his gold hidden in a boot on the sunny side of Deire Fluic. One day two men were talking in this field, when suddenly ten little men came up to them and asked them to play a game of football saying if they won the game they would give to them the boot of gold.
The two men ran away and left the place where they were. They did not get the gold and it is still there.
