- (continued from previous page)with sticks tries to prevent this by hitting it away. The boys run from ring to ring counting the times and the others try to throw the "cat" into one of the rings to get them out. If the cat is caught in the air the boy is out.
- 3 rings are marked out about 20 yards apart called "towns" one group plays another. One side in the town and the others fielding. A ball is bowled 3 chances to each in town he must run from one town to the other and get home safely without being struck with the ball.
- This is played around the fireside. one person passes a piece of paper to another and says here is this he would ask what is this then the first player says this is the house that Jack built. This would continue all round the players, the last answer is.(continues on next page)
