- There was a school in the town land of Inan Co. Meath. The master lived in Lynches house Grangbeg Raharney the remains of there yet. There are no remains of the school there now. The masters name was Darby.
- Long ago there was a school in one of the fields where Fagan's lived Riverdale Raharney.There was a school on the top of a hill in Killine and the name of the teacher was Darby.There was two schools at the back of a field named Sliav in Briscoes farm Riverdale Raharney.
