    Old men and women were taught there.
    There is an old ivy bush in Keeffe's field corbestown and there stood an old school under it. Master Lynch taught in it fifty five children attended it. The old school fell after a while but the remains of it stands in that place yet. Master Lynch taught in it untill it fell, then he went round the District teaching.

  2. There was a school in a field called the Mournin in the town land of Grangemore. My father's father used to go to school there. The master's name was McCunion and he used to teach all Eglish.
