- Andrew Murray, Craddenstown, Raharney states that a hill situated on the valley of the river Deel in the townland of Craddenstown is called Croc an Eirige.
Croc an Eirigi is a high and circular rath or mound or fort surrounded by a circular trench in the valley of the river Deel near swampy marshy land called Fi iorline, "Fíor Laighin" "Fir Laighen"
