  1. A leathern shoe of a very old pattern was found in Riverdale bog under the turf about twenty years ago. The red hair is still to be seen on the leather. It is in the possession of Patrick Price.

  2. About 5 years ago when workmen dug away a portion of a small hill on the roadside to widen the road, they came upon a very ancient burial chamber which apparently dates back thousands of years.
    A narrow low passage leads in from the South, turns due East and again due North into a stone built and roofed room about twelve feet long five feet wide and seven feet high.
