  1. John Shaw eighty eight of Riverdale Raharney tells the following story.
    One night he and another person were out netting rabbits about fifty years ago in Captain Brisco's farm.
    They set their nets where there were plenty of rabbits but could not catch any. They set them again and again and still got nothing.
    As they were about to go home they heard a child crying a hundred yards away and thought it had lost its way.
    When they came to the place they could hear crying a couple of fields away. When they went there it was crying on the far side of the river Deel in Luc Nolans land.
    They thought it a Bean Sidhe crying for someone dying
