  1. Once upon a time there were two men coming home from a ceilidh. When they were coming home they stole a bag of apples and they had to pass a chuchyard. The thought the best place to divide the apples was in the chuchyard.
    When they were going into the chuchyard they dropped two apples at the gate. There were two more men going home and they heard the men in the churchyard saying, one for me, one for you, one for me, one for you, and that going on for a long time, until one the men said. What about the two at the gate, and when the men at the gate heard that their hats jumped off their heads and away with them down the road, they thought it was they, they were going to bring.
