  1. One Winter there was a very hard frost and all the lakes were frozen.
    Well one evening Thomas McCullen and his brother Paddy were sliding on a pond the brittle ice broke under Thomas and he began to sink.
    Heroes
    When Paddy saw that his brother was in danger he ran to his rescue.
    Then the two began to sink and Michael Clarke ran to Michael Tighe for help while Theresa Clarke stood along with them, until help arrived.
    Michael Tighe got into the pond at the risk of his own life but only managed to save one them.
    Michael received a medal as a reward for his braveness.
