    The Flynns, Carrolls, and Smyths of Crowenstown do not use Crowenstown graveyard although they live very near it. The Smyths are buried in Killallon graveyard, and the Carrolls in Rathconnell near Mullingar.

  2. There are three tailors in the district. They are Jim Birde, Peter Larkin, and Peter Fox. They do not travel from house to house, but they work at their homes.
    The tailor stocks cloth. Cloth is not spun and woven locally. Local people do wear clothes made of such cloth. Tweed and Serge are used.
    It is an old saying that a tailor is only the ninth part of a man.
