    Treasure is supposed to be hidden in the moat in Delvin. Attempts were made to unearth it by the Honourable Patrick Greville Nugent, Clonyn Castle, Delvin, but he could not find it. The treasure consists of gold. Gold or treasure has never been found in my district.

  2. Treasure is supposed to be hidden in Mullacroy bog. It is not known who placed it there. Attempts have been made to unearth it by John Murray and Laurence Gallagher. On one occasion they discovered seventy two pounds in silver.
